The number two placed team at preseason wer the Lakers who sit just ahead of the Rockets in the standings after 13 games of the season have been completed.
In the Eastern Conference, the teams who were predicted to win the conference were a lot more varied with the Celtics, Bucks, 76ers, and Hawks all in the running.
